So now that you are accepted . . . what comes next?
Step 1 - Commit to attend Carson-Newman College-submit your enrollment fee.
All new students are required to submit a $100 enrollment fee in order to attend Carson-Newman College. The enrollment fee covers costs associated with class registration and New Student Orientation. Click here to pay your enrollment fee (online or paper form). Priority placement in the residence halls and class registration is based upon date of your enrollment fee receipt.
Step 2 - Apply for Financial Aid.
As an accepted student, we want to provide you with your financial aid award as soon as possible. Please check out the C-N Financial Assistance webpage for details on applying for scholarships to Carson-Newman. Carson-Newman does not require a separate application for financial assistance, however, you should submit your FAFSA after January 1 or take advantage of our C-N 4Caster (financial aid estimator) prior to January 1.
Step 3 - Submit enrollment forms to the Office of Admissions.
Students are notified of acceptance via email and an official acceptance letter. Enrollment forms are included with the acceptance letter. Please submit enrollment forms to the Office of Admissions.

· Immunization Form
· Residence Hall Application: In order to receive on campus housing, students must submit the residence hall application along with the $100 enrollment fee. Students that wish to live off campus must complete and submit the Off Campus Living Form to the C-N Residence Life Office. Criteria for living on/off campus can be found on the Residence Life website.
· Transfer Student Judicial Check Record Form: In order to transfer to Carson-Newman, transfer students must provide verification of their judicial status with any colleges they are currently attending or have previously attended.
Step 4 - Prepare for CLASS REGISTRATION
· Incoming Freshmen: Incoming freshmen who submit the $100 enrollment fee will be contacted to completed class registration. Students will have the opportunity to complete a class registration survey prior to receiving a class schedule in the mail.
· Incoming Transfers: Incoming transfers who submit the $100 enrollment fee will be invited to attend a Transfer Registration Day.
Step 5 – Attend New Student Orientation
Students who submit the $100 enrollment fee will automatically be signed up to attend New Student Orientation (held in August for incoming fall students and in January for incoming spring students).
