  • International Students
    • Q:   Can I transfer credits from my university-level studies in my own country to Carson-Newman?
    • A:   If the university-level institution where you have completed studies is recognized by the Ministry of Education in your country, you almost certainly have at least some transferable credits. In order for us to determine how many credits, in which subjects and with what results, you should submit an official transcript and certified translation (if the transcript is not in English) to one of the professional evaluating agencies listed on our website and request that a course-by-course evaluation be sent to our Office of Admissions. We will use that evaluation to calculate your advanced standing and will send a copy of that calculation to the address you have provided on your application for admission.
