C-N Scholarships

Carson-Newman offers several scholarships programs available to Freshman and Transfer Students.  These scholarships can be added on top of the basic C-N Award.  Each scholarship will have different requirements, criteria, and applications.  Below you will find a listing of these scholarships.

2 or more students who are dependents of the same person or family

Eligibility determined by confirmation of concurrent enrollment.  Must be a full-time, first degree seeking student

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Transfer Student 32+ Hours

3.0 GPA

Good Standing in their Phi Theta Kappa Chapter

None

The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is for transferring students only.

Amount - $1,000 per year

Dependent of a Full-time, licensed and/or ordained Baptist Minister or Missionary

Must participate in Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and/or Jazz Band

*Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress to continue to receive awards.  Scholarship programs and award amounts are subject to change.  All institutional aid is designed for students enrolled in full-time, day, traditional, undergraduate study.  Applications received after May 1st will be awarded based on availability of funds.  Necessary adjustments to financial aid will be made at the end of each drop/add period.
