Leaving family, home, culture, and country to travel around the world to study is exciting, frightening, and courageous. It is also the absolutely best way to learn about the world that we all share. You will never regret having made the decision to complete at least a portion of your academic career abroad. Having studied at Carson-Newman myself, having lived most of my adult life outside the United States, and having raised two children abroad who later studied at Carson-Newman, I can assure you that we understand the cross-cultural experience and the special needs of international students. We also highly value the perspective that you bring to our classrooms in particular and to our campus life in general.
